Here’s What Happens After You Hire Us
The first step on almost every project is to order customized materials.
Since we have a great relationship with our manufacturers and distributors – built up over 14+ years in business – we get premium service from them. In addition, our experience means we can give you accurate estimates of when the materials will arrive.
On the rare occasions where there is a delay, it will be communicated to you quickly and clearly.
You also will have a specific project manager assigned and you’ll be given all his contact information. He’ll make sure you stay informed every step of the way.
Here’s something we do that makes us stand out from typical home remodeling contractors: the person that comes to do the measurements for ordering materials will also be the installer for your job.
This is important for 3 reasons:
- One, you can get to know the installer ahead of time and be comfortable with who will be arriving to your home on installation day.
- Two, if there are any special instructions or needs for your job, this can be worked out then (Examples: knowing about pets, understanding if there are any landscaping or other property that require special care or attention, etc.).
- Three, the installer has more accountability for the quality of the job, start to finish. Most companies send out a different person to measure, which increases the chances for internal finger-pointing and miscommunication.
Once the materials are in, we’ll call you to schedule a precise installation day. As with every other step, we’ll work out a day (or days, depending on size of the project), that works for you.
Installation day arrives and the good news is you likely already know your installer because he visited your home to do measurements.
We hire installers who not only know their work, but are also friendly and good communicators. You’ll feel comfortable having them working on your home.
